Sculptural pieces made from a combination of metal structures and 

fabrics. Series 1 and 2 use different colours and shapes to explore the 

 security that people seek in their lives. The umbrellas constitute a 

space of physical safety and a psychological safety distance from the

 crowd, is this a state of isolation at some point? The shifting and

 sparseness of the fabric tries to guide the viewer's breathing rhythm.

 This leads to a reflection on the sense of security: 

does it lead to safety or to danger?
